Blog Reloaded.

I know, I know, I have not been the most disciplined with my blog posts in the last... uhm.. three years. The pandemic ended, I started a new job, and dove deeper and harder into bulding SCSI controllers.

So the news is that the Amiga A4092 SCSI-2 controller is almost ready now. I'm currently waiting for the last major delivery from the JLCPCB factory before putting them all together and making them available on www.scsi.me

Here's a quick teaser for the packaging of this project:

One of the coolest add-ons for the A4092 in my opinion is the SCSIknife from Jurassic Computing in France. Look how amazing it fits piggy backed onto the A4092, even without the long hard drive mount that the A4091 used to have: Here the SCSIknife is connected through my little adapter PCB called Flipper. Kicad project files can be found on the A4092 GitHub. Or if you don't want to do your own, feel free to reach out to me, I have a few left over that I will also offer as a bundle with the A4092 itself.

As a special treat, the A4092 will no longer use the A4091 Zorro ID. I was luck to have gotten my own Hardware Manufacturer ID for Zorro cards just earlier this month: It is 49374 (0xC0DE).

That's it for a quick update, and I hope you'll be stopping by here more often. Leave a comment to keep me motivated to write more stuff on here, if you like!
